Journal ArticleDOI

A comprehensive review of topoisomerase inhibitors as anticancer agents in the past decade.

TL;DR: This review summarizes types of topoisomerase inhibitors in the past decade, and divides them into nine classes by structural characteristics, including N-heterocycles compounds, quinone derivatives, flavonoids derivatives, coumarin derivatives, lignan derivatives, polyphenol derivatives, diterpenes derivatives, fatty acids derivatives, and metal complexes.
Journal Article

Antibacterial activity and mechanism of berberine against Streptococcus agalactiae.

TL;DR: Results strongly suggested that berberine may damage the structure of bacterial cell membrane and inhibit synthesis of protein and DNA, which cause Streptococcus agalactiae bacteria to die eventually.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent advances in the medical use of silver complex.

TL;DR: This review focuses on the development, application and chemical synthesis of pharmaceutical active silver complexes, and discusses the application prospect and development of active silver complex.
Journal ArticleDOI

The antibacterial activity and action mechanism of emodin from Polygonum cuspidatum against Haemophilus parasuis in vitro.

TL;DR: Emodin from Polygonum cuspidatum showed potent inhibitory effect against H. parasuis, and results suggested that emodin could be used as candidate for treating Glässer's disease.
