Deformation-Driven Modification of Al-Li-Mg-Zn-Cu High-Alloy Aluminum as Anodes for Primary Aluminum-Air Batteries

This paper focuses on the consensus problem of multi-agent systems with double-integrator dynamics based on asynchronous periodic edge-event triggered control. The edge-event detections are performed at different times for different edges and the corresponding data-sampling events occur independently of each other. It is proved that the average consensus can be achieved by designing appropriate parameters under a connected communication topologies. Furthermore, the proposed protocol can effectively reduce the communication costs. A simulation example is also given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical result.

Asynchronous periodic edge-event triggered control for double-integrator networks

In the study of consensus problems of continuous-time multiagent systems, continuous communication of state information among agents is rather a restrictive assumption. In this paper, we propose a discrete communication structure of multiagent systems, which allows for bounded time-varying communication delays, and derive a necessary and sufficient condition for the possession of consensus property. Examples are provided that demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

Consensus Problems of Multiagent Systems under Discrete Communication Structure

This paper provides a preliminary study on dynamic modeling of a multi-link robotic fish based on Schiehlen's multi-body dynamic equation. According to propulsive mechanism of real fish, the robotic fish propels itself using lateral oscillation and achieves a climb or descent maneuver employing a pair of pectoral fins. The designed robotic fish is mechanically composed of stiff anterior body, flexible rear body, and an oscillating lunate caudal fin, which can simply be viewed as an open, treed multi-body system. The kinematic analysis is then integrated with dynamic analysis to build complete dynamic equations in a form suited for controller design and computer simulation. Finally, simulations and experimental results are compared for straight swim and circular motion, which partially shows the validity of the proposed model.

Dynamic Modeling of Robotic Fish Using Schiehien's Method

This paper presents a novel method for coordinating multiple biomimetic robotic fish in box-pushing task. Having successfully developed a robotic fish prototype, and built a platform of multiple robotic fish coordinated control system to study coordinated control strategies for multiple robotic fish, we step further to study coordination problems of multiple robotic fish in unstructured and dynamic environments. To simplify the difficulty of path planning and action decision when a fish is approaching the box, we employ a situated-behavior design method which is based on situations, and for each situation a specific behavior is elaborately designed. On dealing with the synchronization and coordinated pushing problems in the particular underwater environment, fuzzy logic method is adopted for motion planning of the fish. Experimental results of box-pushing performed by two robotic fish validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
