Beyond pairwise strategy updating in the prisoner's dilemma game

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that strategy changes inspired not only by individual neighbors but also by entire neighborhoods introduce a qualitatively different evolutionary dynamics that is able to support the stable existence of very small cooperative clusters, leading to phase diagrams that differ significantly from those obtained by means of pairwise strategy updating.
Journal ArticleDOI

Robust strictly positive real synthesis for polynomial families of arbitrary order

TL;DR: For any two n-th order polynomials a(s) and b(s), the Hurwitz stability of their convex combination is necessary and sufficient for the existence of a polynomial c(s)/a(s).
Journal ArticleDOI

An Evolving Web Service Interaction Network Model

TL;DR: This paper proposes a model which is able to generate two types of Web service interaction networks, namely complementary Web Service interaction network (CWSIN) and similar Web service interactions network (SWSIN), and exhibits some of the typical characteristics reported in the previous empirical studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Information Propagation Over Networks With Antagonistic Interactions: The Equilibrium Analysis

TL;DR: This article studies the propagation problem over a network with antagonistic interactions, modeled as a signed graph, and proposes a novel information propagation model by a mean-field approximation.
