Time reversal experiments in the microwave range: description of the radar and results

TL;DR: A new RADAR system able to perform Phase Conjugation experiments over the ultrawideband (2{4)GHz) and the excellent agreement between measured and theoretical results validates the potential of the system.
Proceedings Article

Time reversal-based processing for human targets detection in realistic through-the-wall scenarios

TL;DR: This paper presents the final results of a project devoted to show the abilities of Time Reversal processing for Through-The-Wall (TTW) detection of human targets from a multistatic-multiview UWB radar system.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Improved Antenna Calibration Methodology for Microwave Diffraction Tomography in Limited-Aspect Configurations

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an improved calibration strategy in the framework of microwave diffraction tomography, which takes the reconstructed antenna pattern into account within the inversion algorithm both at transmission and at reception through a multipolar expansion of the incident field and the data equation Green function.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

An ultrawideband time reversal-based RADAR for microwave-range imaging in cluttered media

TL;DR: This work presents a new RADAR prototype built for the purpose of imaging targets located in a cluttered environment capable of performing Phase Conjugation experiments in the ultrawideband [2-4] GHz and aims to experimentally explore the use of this focusing wave into an inversion algorithm in order to improve its robustness against noise.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

An s-band ultrawideband time reversal-based RADAR for imaging in cluttered media

TL;DR: This work presents a new RADAR prototype built for the purpose of imaging targets located in a cluttered environment, capable of performing Phase Conjugation experiments in the ultrawideband [2–4] GHz and validated by ph-syically backpropagating the focusing wave into the medium all over the frequency band and observing the expected focusing properties.
