High SARS-CoV-2 Seroprevalence in Children and Adults in the Austrian Ski Resort Ischgl

TL;DR: Ischgl was hit early and hard by SARS-CoV-2 leading to a high local seroprevalence of 42.4%, which was lower in individuals below the age of 18 than in adults, and mathematical modeling suggests that a drastic decline of newly infected individuals in Ischgl by the end of April occured due to the dual impact from the non-pharmacological interventions (NPIs) and a significant immunization of the Isch gl population.

Development of self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDS) for ciprofloxacin with improved mucus permeating properties.

TL;DR: Results from this study suggest that SEDDS formulations should be taken into consideration as promising delivery systems for the treatment of pulmonary infections accompanied by mucus dysfunction.

Investigating the antibacterial activity of salen/salophene metal complexes: Induction of ferroptosis as part of the mode of action.

TL;DR: This efficacy basically documents that salophene iron(III) complexes represent possible lead structures for the further development of antibacterial metal complexes.
