Couplings in Phase Domain Impedance Modeling of Grid-Connected Converters
Mohammad Kazem Bakhshizadeh,Xiongfei Wang,Frede Blaabjerg,Jesper Hjerrild,Lukasz Hubert Kocewiak,Claus Leth Bak,Bo Hesselbak +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that there exist couplings between the positive and negative sequences, even in a balanced system due to the PLL, which is important for synchronization, even though these couplings are very small in magnitude, they are important in the stability of the converter.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Review on multi-level voltage source converter based HVDC technologies for grid connection of large offshore wind farms
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focus on reviewing grid connection of large offshore wind farms (OWFs) employing current state-of-the-art voltage source converter based high-voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) technologies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impedance-Based Stability Analysis of Voltage-Controlled MMCs Feeding Linear AC Systems
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived the ac-side impedance matrices (IMs) of the MMC with the open-loop and closed-loop voltage control and their relationship is also explicitly given.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Future work on harmonics - some expert opinions Part II - supraharmonics, standards and measurements
Jan Meyer,Math Bollen,Hortensia Amaris,Ana Maria Blanco,Aurora Gil de Castro,Jan Desmet,Matthias Klatt,Lukasz Hubert Kocewiak,Sarah K. Ronnberg,Kai Yang +9 more
TL;DR: A workshop on power system harmonics was organized in Stockholm in January 2014 as discussed by the authors, among others a discussion on what are the main issues on harmonics at the moment and in the near future.
Harmonics in large offshore wind farms
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a take down policy to remove access to the work immediately and investigate the claim that this document breaches copyright, and they provided details of the claim.
