Lucjan Strekowski,Donald B. Harden,William B. Grubb,Steven E. Patterson,Agnieszka Czarny,M. J. Mokrosz,Marek T. Cegla,Roman L. Wydra +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a practical method for the preparation of 2-chloro-4,6-di(heteroaryl)pyrimidines and their 5-methyl homologues from readily available 2chloropyrimidine and 2chloro -5-methylpyrimidine, respectively, is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regioselective additions of grignard and lithium reagents to 2-[(benzylidene)aminoi]benzonitrile and 2-[(diphenylmethylene)amino]benzonitrile
TL;DR: Phenylmagnesium bromide and methylmagnesiumbromide in tetrahydrofuran undergo a regioselective addition to the cyano group of the two title compounds as discussed by the authors.
Patent
Novel diazines and their method of preparation
TL;DR: In this paper, a method of preparation of substituted halogenodiazines which are useful as intermediates in the synthesis of novel unfused heterobicyclic compounds, and the products thereof is presented.
4,6-Di(heteroaryl)-2-(N-methylpiperazino)pyrimidines as New, Potent 5-HT2A Receptor Ligands: A Verification of the Topographic Model
M. J. Mokrosz,Lucjan Strekowski,W. X. Kosak,B. Duszynska,Bojarski Andrzej J,Aleksandra Kłodzińska,Agnieszka Czarny,M. T. Cegla,A. Deren‐Wesolek,E. Chojnacka‐Wojcik,Stefan Dove,Jerzy L. Mokrosz +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of new 4,6-di(heteroaryl)pyrimidines containing an N-methylpiperazino group (6-13) or an ethylenediamine chain (15-20) in position 2 were synthesized and their 5-HT1A and 5HT2A receptor affinities were determined.
