Aging of LiFePO4 upon exposure to H2O

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of H 2 O on carbon-coated LiFePO 4 particles was investigated by chemical analysis, structural analysis (X-ray diffraction, SEM, TEM), optical spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman) and magnetic measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

LiFePO4: From molten ingot to nanoparticles with high-rate performance in Li-ion batteries

TL;DR: LiFePO4 (LFP) particles were obtained by grinding ingot synthesized in the molten state, followed by jet milling and then wet milling, providing a simple way to obtain powders with controlled particle size in the range from macroscopic to 25nm as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure and magnetic properties of nanophase-LiFe1.5P2O7

TL;DR: The structure and magnetic properties of lithium iron pyrophosphate were investigated in detail in this article, where high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, selected area electron diffraction, and x-ray diffraction measurements indicate that Li2Fe3(P2O7)2 is crystallized in the monoclinic structure, without any indication of crystallographic defects such as dislocations or misfits, and exhibit smooth surface morphology.
