Objectives Coronavirus disease is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. This virus primarily spreads through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes. This virus was named after its shape, which takes the form of a crown with protrusions around it. The World Health Organization has recommended personal protective equipments (PPE) to doctors and health care workers attending COVID-19 patients. PPE generally includes masks, goggles, respirators, gloves, face shields, and isolation gowns. The principle aim of this study is to create awareness among dental students about the preventive measures taken by health care professionals while attending patients affected with COVID-19. Materials & Methods A questionnaire comprising 15 questions was created using an online Google forms website and was circulated among 100 dental students. The survey was conducted within a week in the months of April to May 2020. The results and observations were recorded in the form of pie charts. Results Ninety-three percent of the participants have stated that health care professionals must clean their hands often, cover their nose and mouth, and maintain safe distance from everyone in order to prevent the virus from affecting them. Sixty-three percent of the participants are familiar with the term PPE. Majority assume that health care professionals are given enough safety precautions while treating a patient with coronavirus. Conclusion Hence, to conclude, health care professionals play a vital role in improving access and quality health care for the population, and hence, they must be protected as well. Since dental students treat patients, they are vulnerable to infection as well, and must take proper safety measures.

Introduction: Misinformation can amplify humanity’s greatest challenges A salient example of this is the COVID-19 pandemic, which has spread a wide range of falsehoods even as truth has more and more turned into a matter of life and death In the current study, the aim is to analyze the effect of social media on the public with regard to COVID-19 Materials and Methods: A survey was conducted among 100 participants [79 male, 21 female] 13 questions were circulated through online Google forms via WhatsApp platform Responses were collected and verified Result: On analyzing the data majority of the participants used WhatsApp and Facebook for news updates regarding COVID-19, 46% were aware of authentic websites to cross-check the news and 77% of the participants agreed that they get disturbed with a lot of information related to COVID-19 Conclusion: Thus we conclude that strict measures must be taken to prevent the spread of misinformation and to avoid mental health problems © IJCRR

Introduction: Refugees are people who displace or migrate from place to place due to political violence and war They lack their basic needs and do not have proper accessibilities to general routine things Mainly because of their constant migration, they get exhausted physically and develop mental illness due to inadequate facilities in their future They can survive at normal periods, but their situation gets worse during curfew periods because of no food, no shelter, and no employment The main aim of this topic is to collect the opinions of the general population under the age group of 18-60 about refugees and their hardships during curfew periods Materials and Methods: The survey was conducted among 150 people of the general population through an online survey The questionnaire formed contained basic, awareness creating and statistical contents about the topic and related information Data collected and analyzed using SPSS software, Inferential statistics were done using a Chi-square test, and a P-value of <0 05 was found to be statistically significant Results: 93 6% knew about refugees, rest 6 4% had no idea, but 33 3% of them thought that they were people working for the government, rest 64 7% replied that they were people who were forced to flee from their origin countries 81 4% of the population thought that they don’t have proper access to their necessities and the rest 14 8% thought they do 91 7% agreed that they will suffer during curfew periods and the rest 8 3% of them disagreed Conclusion: Nearly all have understood their situation during curfews, and more than 90% of the population was willing to help, further awareness needs to be spread to take actions as soon as possible © 2020, Radiance Research Academy All rights reserved

Background: Infertility is a serious health issue that affects people all around the world. One of the most common reasons for male infertility is sperm abnormalities. Researchers and scientists have been searching for a novel genetic marker to detect or recognize the genetic malfunction that causes sperm abnormalities. Micro-RNA (miRNAs) are small non-coded RNA molecules that present intra and extra-cellular and regulate gene expression. Objective: This studies began to search for a relation between miRNA expression levels and other diseases that may be related to them, considering that the main role of miRNAs was the down-regulation of genes. Methods: The main technique used in this study was to synthesize a complementary DNA (cDNA) (revers transcription method) of extracted total RNA by TRIzol then amplification of candidates’ miRNAs genes by Reverse Transcriptase Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction RT-qPCR. Results: Studies found that miRNAs have a role in defining sperm qualities such as sperm count, motility, and shape. In this study, we chose the most miRNAs referred to in the previous study as a potential seminal fluid marker (miR-10a, miR-10b, miR-135a and miR-135b) to test them as potential infertility-related miRNAs markers (Asthenospermia AS, Oligospermia OS, Astheno-Oligospermia ASOS) in addition to health normal sperm NS. Conclusion: the main aim of this study was to find the miRNAs expression pattern to find a way to help scientists track the genetic causes of male infertility issues and a novel method to distinguish infertility genetically diseases. Conclusion: The findings may serve as a potential genetic marker for male infertility and provide a background for future research that targeted miRNAs as a molecular marker for medical and forensic fields, also as an infertility disease potential treatment.
