Journal ArticleDOI

Large-scale methacrylate monolithic columns: design and properties.

TL;DR: In this work, methacrylate-based monolithic columns with the bed volume up to 8000 ml are characterized and are found to be incompressible under these operating conditions and resistant to strong alkaline conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Methacrylate monoliths prepared from various hydrophobic and hydrophilic monomers – Structural and chromatographic characteristics

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of various methacrylate monomers on the porous structure of the monolith was investigated, and the porosity of the porous structures was correlated with the specific surface area, pressure drop, and dynamic binding capacity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterisation of metal-chelate methacrylate monoliths.

TL;DR: Investigating properties of commercial metal-chelate methacrylate monoliths-Convective Interaction Media revealed that the maximal capacity is achieved at protein concentration above 60 microg/ml, and dynamic binding capacity and resolution were found to be flow unaffected.
Journal ArticleDOI

High performance reversed-phase liquid chromatography using novel cim RP-SDVB monolithic supports

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a 3 mm long RP-SDVB disk monolithic column for protein separation and achieved excellent separation of proteins within a very short time using only 14 seconds.
