Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal Growth and Scintillation Properties of Ce Doped ${\rm Gd}_{3}({\rm Ga},{\rm Al})_{5}{\rm O}_{12}$ Single Crystals

TL;DR: In this paper, light yield change along the growth direction and effects of Ce concentration on scintillation properties in Ce:GAGG were studied and it was proposed that the increase of Ga concentration along the growing direction is the main cause of the decrease of LY.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scintillation Properties of Transparent Ceramic Pr:LuAG for Different Pr Concentration

TL;DR: In this article, a transparent optical ceramic of Pr 0.2-1% doped Lu3Al5 O12 (Pr:LuAG) was manufactured by the sintering method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and luminescence properties of ZnO:Ga - polystyrene composite scintillator.

TL;DR: These features suggest the presence of non-radiative energy transfer from polystyrene host towards the ZnO:Ga scintillating phase which is confirmed by the measurement of X-ray excited scintillation decay with picosecond time resolution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scintillation Properties of ${\rm Ce}^{3+}$ - and ${\rm Pr}^{3+}$ -Doped LuAG, YAG and Mixed ${\rm Lu}_{\rm x}{\rm Y}_{1-{\rm x}}{\rm AG}$ Garnet Crystals

TL;DR: In this article, the state-of-the-art results for light yield, energy resolution, and proportionality of mixed Ce3+ and Pr3+-doped mixed (LuxY1-x)3Al5O12 (LuYAG) garnet scintillator crystals were compared with those of single crystal analogues.
