TL;DR: It is shown that a gain in maximum electron energy of up to 200 megaelectronvolts can be achieved, along with an improvement in the quality of the ultrashort electron beam in the forced laser wake field regime.

TL;DR: It is shown here how short bursts of neutrons can be produced using a jet of low-density deuterated methane clusters, and it is shown that, in such conditions, nuclear fusion will occur not only in the hot plasma core, but also in the cold outer region by collision processes.
