Journal ArticleDOI
Phosphorescent platinum(ii) alkynyls end-capped with benzothiazole units.
TL;DR: The study indicates that solvatochromism is due to the contribution of solvent-to-cyanide hydrogen bonding and increased solvent dipolarity-polarizability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Half-lantern cyclometalated Pt(II) and Pt(III) complexes with bridging heterocyclic thiolate ligands: synthesis, structural characterization, and electrochemical and photophysical properties
Hamid R. Shahsavari,Elena Lalinde,M. Teresa Moreno,Maryam Niazi,Sayed Habib Kazemi,Sedigheh Abedanzadeh,Mohammad Barazandeh,Mohammad Reza Halvagar +7 more
TL;DR: The half-lantern Pt(II)-Pt(II) cyclometalated complexes were synthesized by reaction with an ethanolic solution of the corresponding sodium thiolate salts, thus providing a new direct approach to obtain this type of complexes in high yield as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Highly Efficient Luminescent Pt2Tl2 Chain with a Short TlI–TlI Interaction
Sirous Jamali,Mona Maleka Ashtiani,Zahra Jamshidi,Elena Lalinde,M. Teresa Moreno,Hamidreza Samouei,Eduardo C. Escudero-Adán,Jordi Benet-Buchholz +7 more
TL;DR: Density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT calculations show that red emission originated from a platinum to thallium-thallium charge-transfer excited state.
Journal ArticleDOI
Zinc, cadmium and mercury complexes of redox-active cyanomanganese carbonyl ligands: intramolecular electron transfer through tetrahedral d10 metal centres
TL;DR: In this paper, the redox-active cyanomanganese carbonyl ligands cis-and trans-[Mn(CN)(CO)2{P(OR)3}(dppm)] (R = Ph or Et, dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2) reacted with ZnBr2, CdI2 and Hg(NO3)2 to give the tetrahedral (at M) complexes [X2M{(µ-NC)MnLx}2]
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel heterobimetallic titanium–platinum complexes. Crystal structure of [(η5-C5H4SiMe3)(SPh)Ti(μ,η5-κS-C5H4P(S)Ph2)(μ-SPh)Pt(C6F5)2]
Esther Delgado,Bruno Donnadieu,Elisa Hernández,Elena Lalinde,Noelia Mansilla,M. Teresa Moreno +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure of 4, a complex displaying an unusual mixed thiolate-thiophosphorylcyclopentadienyl bridging system, was presented.
