Palladium-Catalysed Heteroannulation with Terminal Alkynes: a Highly Regio- and Stereoselective Synthesis of (Z)-3-Aryl(alkyl)idene Isoindolin-1-ones

TL;DR: In this paper, a highly regio-and stereoselective method for the synthesis of (Z)-3-aryl(alkyl)idene isoindolin-1-ones through palladium-copper catalysis is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heteroannulation through combined palladium catalysed and Friedel-Crafts reactions strategy: Synthesis of 3-alkylidene isoindolin-1-ones

TL;DR: The palladium-catalysed reactions of 2-iodobenzamides 1−5 with trimethylsilyl acetylene 6 led to 2-(2-trimethyl silyl)ethynyl benzamides 7−11 in excellent yields.
Journal ArticleDOI

An expeditious synthesis of z-3-alkylidene isoindolinones via combined palladium catalysed and friedel-crafts reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, N-Aryl(or, alkyl)-2-iodobenzamides underwent a palladium-catalysed reaction with (trimethylsilyl)acetylene to form N-substituted-2-(trimethyl)ethynyl benzamides, which on further Friedel-Crafts acylation and cyclisation yielded Z-3-alkylidene isoindolin-1-ones in a completely regio- and stereoselective manner.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two (Z)‐N‐Aryl‐3‐benzylideneisoindolin‐1‐ones.

TL;DR: Two isoindolin-1-one derivatives, (Z)-3-benzyl-idene-N-phenyl-isoindolinone, C21H15NO, (II) and (III) were synthesized by the palladium-catalysed heteroannulation as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two (Z)-N-aryl-3-benzylideneisoindolin-1-ones.

TL;DR: Two isoindolin-1-one derivatives, (Z)-3-benzylidene-N-phenylisoindolin1- one, C21H15NO, (II), and (Z-3- Benzyl ideneN-(4-methoxyphenyl)isoINDolin- 1-one, C22H17NO2, (III), were synthesized by the palladium-catalysed hetero
