TL;DR: In this article, the influence of pulsed current TIG welding parameters on tensile properties of AA 6061 aluminium alloy weldments was investigated. And the results showed that pulsed currents can improve the mechanical properties of the welds compared to those of continuous current welds.

Effect of pulsed current GTA welding parameters on the fusion zone microstructure of AA 6061 aluminium alloy
TL;DR: In this article, a mathematical model was developed to predict the fusion zone grain diameter of AA 6061 aluminium alloy welds incorporating pulsed current welding parameters, which can be used to estimate the fusion grain diameter at a 95% confidence level.
