Journal ArticleDOI

Blood pressure in smokers and nonsmokers: epidemiologic findings.

TL;DR: The results show a pattern of higher BP among nonsmokers and ex-smokers than among smokers, which could not be explained by various potentially confounding factors, such as relative weight, ethnic origin, alcohol and coffee intake, and participation in leisure time sports.
Journal ArticleDOI

Objective and subjective work monotony: effects on job satisfaction, psychological distress, and absenteeism in blue-collar workers.

TL;DR: The relation of objective work conditions and subjective monotony to job satisfaction, psychological distress, and sickness absence was examined in male and female workers and highlighted the significance of noting the actual work conditions in predicting employee outcomes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reduction of transmission of shigellosis by control of houseflies (musca domestica)

Journal ArticleDOI

Serum malondialdehyde and prevalent cardiovascular disease in hemodialysis.
