Characterization of porous activated carbon prepared from arhar stalks by single step chemical activation method

TL;DR: In this article, the physical and chemical characteristics of arhar stalk activated carbon scanning electron microscopic, x ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, fourier transform analysis and pore size distribution analysis were performed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of Environmental Conditions on Erosion Wear of Eggshell Particulate Epoxy Composites

TL;DR: In this article, the erosion wear behaviors of unboiled (UB) and boiled eggshells filler reinforced epoxy composites have been characterized using a hand layup technique and the samples have been exposed to different environmental conditions i.e. dry, saline, mineral, kerosene and subzero temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Moisture Absorption Behavior of Treated and Untreated Eggshell Particulate Epoxy Composites

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of different environments (saline, mineral, kerosene, subzero temperature) on the physical properties of the composites which are fabricated with unboiled (untreated) and boiled (treated 200 °C) eggshell filler materials are studied XRD, SEM and ultimate analysis of the composite material.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of environmental exposure on tribological properties of Arhar particulate/epoxy composites

TL;DR: In this article, solid particle erosion behavior of Arhar particulate epoxy composites with 5, 10, and 15-wt% particulate content has been characterized and the effect of different environments on erosion wear rate is investigated for all the composites.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of tribological properties of biomass developed porous nano activated carbon composites

TL;DR: In this article, porous nano activated carbon epoxy composites were studied for their erosion and abrasive wear properties, and they were used as reinforcements in the fabrication of polyurethane composites with 1%, 2% and 3% filler loadings.
