Phantom limb, residual limb, and back pain after lower extremity amputations : Amputation and new prosthetic devices
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the sensations and pain reported by persons with unilateral lower extremity amputations and find that nonpainful phantom limb sensations were common and more frequent than phantom limb pain.
