Journal ArticleDOI

Nanoscale Mg-based materials for hydrogen storage

TL;DR: In this article, the structure and electrochemical properties of nanocrystalline Mg 2 Cu, (Mg 1 - x M x ) 2 Ni alloys, as well as Mg2 Cu /M
Journal ArticleDOI

Nanocrystalline titanium-type metal hydride electrodes prepared by mechanical alloying

TL;DR: In this article, a milling process was employed to produce nanocrystalline TiFe 1− x Ni x alloys (x = 0, 025, 05, 075 and 10) and the starting mixture of the elements had decomposed into an amorphous phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogenation and electrochemical studies of La–Mg–Ni alloys

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of amount of Mg in alloy on electrochemical, hydrogenation and dehydrogenation properties of La2-xMgxNi7 alloys was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synergistic effects of multiwalled carbon nanotubes and Al on the electrochemical hydrogen storage properties of Mg2Ni-type alloy prepared by mechanical alloying

TL;DR: In this paper, the microstructures of synthesized alloys are characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM, and they show that the Mg 1.75 Al 0.25 Ni-MWCNTs composite shows the highest discharge capacity due to the synergistic effects of MWCNTs and Al on the electrochemical hydrogen storage properties of Mg 2 Ni-type alloy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogen storage by Mg-based nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic properties of the Mg2Ni1-xCux, LaNi5, ZrV2-type nanocrystalline alloys have been measured.
