Hydriding properties of nanocrystalline Mg2−xMxNi alloys synthesized by mechanical alloying (M=Mn, Al)

TL;DR: In this article, the nanocrystalline Mg-based hydrogen storage, Mg 2− x M x Ni (Mn, Al and x = 0, 0.25 and 0.5), alloys have been synthesized by mechanical alloying followed by annealing (450°C/0.5 h).
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication and properties of titanium-hydroxyapatite nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this article, a combination of mechanical alloying (MA) and powder metallurgical process was used for the fabrication of titanium-ceramic nanocomposites with a unique microstructure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nanoscale Mg-based materials for hydrogen storage

TL;DR: In this article, the structure and electrochemical properties of nanocrystalline Mg 2 Cu, (Mg 1 - x M x ) 2 Ni alloys, as well as Mg2 Cu /M
Journal ArticleDOI

Nanocrystalline titanium-type metal hydride electrodes prepared by mechanical alloying

TL;DR: In this article, a milling process was employed to produce nanocrystalline TiFe 1− x Ni x alloys (x = 0, 025, 05, 075 and 10) and the starting mixture of the elements had decomposed into an amorphous phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

Properties of Al–Al2O3 composites synthesized by spark plasma sintering method

TL;DR: In this article, fabrication and characterization of Al-Al 2 O 3 composite materials with a 5, 10, 15% and 20% volume fraction of reinforcing phase particles was presented. And the results showed that a composite with 20% alumina content is characterized by a larger hardness (1355 MPa) and compression strength (247 MPa).
