Solid state hydrolysis of acetylanthranyl Assistance by hydrogen bonding
TL;DR: O 18 and acidic hydrolysis in the solid state of acyl anthranyls are presented in this article. The role of H-bonds in assisting the reactions is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solid-state chemistry of organic polyvalent iodine compounds. VII. The relationships between crystal packing modes, solid-state intermolecular interactions, and infrared spectra of benzoxiodole compounds☆
TL;DR: The importance of intermolecular interactions in determining crystal structures has been investigated for a series of 3-oxo-3H,2,1-benzoxiodol-1-substituted compounds as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Growth of High-Quality Crystals Containing Peptides: Arenesulfonate Salts of L-Alanyl-L-Alanine, Glycylglycine, and L-Leucyl-L-Alanine
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystal Expansion During a Thermochromic Transformation
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the color change is probably due to the rotation of the exocyclic phenyl ring into the plane of the phenyl group, and the packing patterns of the two crystal forms, as determined by crystal structure analysis, show that the expansion may result from a slip mechanism similar to a Martensitic transformation.
