Reaffirming Pinus mundayi as the oldest known pine fossil: REPLY
TL;DR: Ryberg et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that Pinus mundayi is not the oldest known pine fossil, but it is close to the Barremian-Hauterivian boundary (ca. 131-129 Ma).
