Effect of a pilot washing system on dicofol levels in orange matrix.

TL;DR: Results indicated that washing under the described conditions did not allow a complete removal of dicofol residues from orange peel, and the effect of a pilot washing system on dic ofol residues in oranges was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gas-chromatographic determination of deltamethrin in crops

TL;DR: In this article, a rapid and economical method for the determination of deltamethrin in wheat, rice, peanuts and corn is described, based on simultaneous extraction and clean-up on a column packed with alumina and silica gel using n-hexane-ethyl ether (8:2, v/v).
Journal ArticleDOI

Extração por fluido supercrítico de alguns inseticidas carbamatos em amostras de batata, com determinação por HPLC/fluorescência e confirmação por HPLC/espectrometria de massas

TL;DR: In this paper, supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) methods were tested, by varying the following operational parameters: CO2 pressure, time and temperature of extraction, type and proportion of static modifier, and Hydromatrix®/sample rate into cell.
Journal ArticleDOI

Distribuição e biodisponibilidade de crômio em solos contaminados por resíduos de couro

TL;DR: In this paper, samples of soil, water and sediment were collected and analyzed in order to evaluate chromium contamination due to deposition of tannery residues onto soils under different management regimes.
Journal ArticleDOI

A simplified method for the determination of fenpropathrin residues in fruits

TL;DR: In this article, a simple and efficient method was described for the determination of fenpropathrin in oranges, pears, apples, and strawberries, based on the extraction of each homogenized fruit sample with hexane:acetone (1∶1, v/v) mixture, followed by a cleanup technique on a column packed with florisil, using a hexane-ethyl ether (7∶3, v)/v mixture, and gas chromatographic analysis with electron capture detection (ECD).
