Journal ArticleDOI

Lanthanum gallium bismuthide, LaGaBi2.

TL;DR: A retrotheoretical analysis of the structure of the ternary rare-earth gallium bismuthide LaGaBi(2) suggests an interesting electronic situation in which strong multiple bonding in the Ga-Ga network coexists with weak hypervalent bonded in the Bi-Bi network and confirms the metallic behavior seen in electrical resistivity measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Samarium orthosilicate oxyapatite, Sm5(SiO4)3O

TL;DR: Samarium orthosilicate oxy-apatite, Sm5(SiO4)3O, contains SiO44− tetrahedra [SiO 1.611
Journal ArticleDOI

Platinum silicon antimonide (PtSiSb)

TL;DR: The structure of PtSiSb consists of a three-dimensional network built up by condensing PtSi 3 Sb 3 octahedra through both corner-and edge-sharing as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lanthanum gallium manganese antimonide La 12 Ga 3.5 Mn 0.5 Sb 23.5

TL;DR: In this article, the first quaternary rare-earth antimonide containing a p-block metal and a transition metal was synthesized by reaction of the elements and its structure has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lanthanum Gallium Tin Antimonides LaGaxSnySb2

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of quaternary lanthanum gallium tin antimonides LaGa x Sn y Sb 2 was elaborated to trace the structural evolution between the known end members LaGaSb 2 and LaSn y sb 2.
