Journal ArticleDOI

Collective and Single-Particle Motion in Beyond Mean Field Approaches.

TL;DR: The fascinating structure of the semimagic ^{44}S nucleus is calculated as a first application of the novel nuclear energy density functional method, obtaining an excellent quantitative agreement both with the available experimental data and with state-of-the-art shell model calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Symmetry conserving configuration mixing method with cranked states

TL;DR: In this article, the first calculations of a symmetry conserving configuration mixing method (SCCM) using time-reversal symmetry breaking Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB) states with the Gogny D1S interaction were presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ground-state properties of even and odd Magnesium isotopes in a symmetry-conserving approach

TL;DR: In this article, a self-consistent theory for odd nuclei with exact blocking and particle number and angular momentum projection is presented, where pairing correlations in a variation-after-projection approach as well as the explicit consideration of the triaxial deformation parameters in a projection after variation method, together with the use of the finite-range density-dependent Gogny force, provides an excellent tool for the description of odd-even and even-even nuclei.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, a self-consistent theory for describing the spectroscopic properties of odd nuclei is presented, which includes exact blocking, particle-number and angular-momentum projection and configuration mixing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pairing correlations and symmetries in odd-A nuclei.

TL;DR: In this paper, the pairing correlations in odd-A nuclei are analyzed in the mean field approximation and beyond, and the role of symmetry conservation is investigated in particular in the weak pairing regime.
