Neodymium versatate catalyst for the 1,3-butadiene polymerization – Effects of reaction parameters
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used Neodymium versatate as a catalyst to perform solution 1,3-butadiene polymerization and obtained polymer products were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC).
Book ChapterDOI

The effect of suction and slip velocity of a non-Newtonian fluid flowing over a circular cylinder
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of suction and slip velocity for the forced convection of a Newtonian and a power law fluid flow on a circular cylinder is studied and the compatibility and suction conditions are derived and solved using a triparametric variable polynomial for the velocity profile.
Book ChapterDOI
Passivation of nickel activity in the nickel-Nb2O5-SiO2 system at low metal contents
TL;DR: In this paper, Niobia/silica systems were used as a nickel trap and a great decrease in the catalytic activity of the cyclohexane reaction (hydrogenolisis and dehydrogenation) was observed, with a remarkable effect on the selectivity.
