Affected Experiencers

TL;DR: In this article, a syntactic head Aff(ect) introduces the experiencer argument, and adds a conventional implicature to the effect that any event of the type denoted by its syntactic sister is the source of an experiencer's psychological experience.
Journal ArticleDOI

Predictive uncertainty in infrared marker-based dynamic tumor tracking with Vero4DRT.

TL;DR: This study evaluated the predictive errors in 4D modeling (E4DM) and those resulting from the baseline drift of PIR and Pdetect during a treatment session (EBD) and found that application of IR Tracking substantially reduced the geometric error caused by respiratory motion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Overcoming the challenges of primary tumor management in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer unresectable for cure and an asymptomatic primary tumor.

TL;DR: Almost 75% of upfront chemotherapy patients with unresectable, asymptomatic stage IV colorectal cancer can be spared initial resection of the primary tumor, and Colonoscopic findings of nontraversable lesions at diagnosis may predict the need for late surgical intervention.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intrafractional tracking accuracy in infrared marker-based hybrid dynamic tumour-tracking irradiation with a gimballed linac ☆

TL;DR: Prediction errors were the primary cause of overall targeting errors, whereas mechanical errors were negligible, and improvement of the prediction accuracy could be achieved by correcting systematic prediction errors in the previous field.
