Journal ArticleDOI
Proton-exchange mechanism of specific Cs+ adsorption via lattice defect sites of Prussian blue filled with coordination and crystallization water molecules
Manabu Ishizaki,S. Akiba,A. Ohtani,Yuji Hoshi,Kenta Ono,M. Matsuba,Takanari Togashi,K. Kananizuka,Masatomi Sakamoto,Masatomi Sakamoto,Akira Takahashi,Tohru Kawamoto,Hisashi Tanaka,Masayuki Watanabe,Makoto Arisaka,Takuya Nankawa,Masato Kurihara,Masato Kurihara +17 more
TL;DR: The synthesised PB-1, by a common stoichiometric aqueous reaction between 4Fe(3+) and 3[Fe(II)(CN)6](4-), showed much more efficient Cs(+) adsorption ability than did the commercially available PB-2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simple synthesis of three primary colour nanoparticle inks of Prussian blue and its analogues
Akihito Gotoh,Hiroaki Uchida,Manabu Ishizaki,Tetsutaro Satoh,Shinichi Kaga,Shusuke Okamoto,Masaki Ohta,Masatomi Sakamoto,Masatomi Sakamoto,Tohru Kawamoto,Hisashi Tanaka,M. Tokumoto,M. Tokumoto,Shigeo Hara,Hirofumi Shiozaki,Mami Yamada,Mikio Miyake,Masato Kurihara,Masato Kurihara +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it has been found that the PB pigment is inherently an agglomerate of 10?20?nm nanoparticles, based on powder x-ray diffraction (XRD) line broadenings and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and isolation of cobalt hexacyanoferrate/chromate metal coordination nanopolymers stabilized by alkylamino ligand with metal elemental control.
TL;DR: This Communication describes the novel isolation with metal elemental control of cobalt hexacyanoferrate/chromate metal coordination polymers, stabilized by stearylamine (Co-Fe/Cr-SA) as a protecting coordination ligand in a reverse micelle technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dinuclear zinc(II) complex of a new acyclic phenol-based dinucleating ligand with four methoxyethyl chelating arms: first dizinc model with aminopeptidase function
Hiroshi Sakiyama,Rieko Mochizuki,Akihiko Sugawara,Masatomi Sakamoto,Yuzo Nishida,Mikio Yamasaki +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new end-off type acyclic ligand with four methoxyethyl chelating arms, 2,6-bis[bis(2-methoxyethyl)aminomethyl]-4-methylphenol (Hbomp), formed a dinuclear zinc(II) complex [Zn2(bomp)(MeCO2)2]BPh4 1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ferromagnetic Spin-Coupling between Gadolinium(III) and Copper(II) Ions in Discrete Binuclear Gd(III)–Cu(II) Complexes
Masatomi Sakamoto,Masayuki Hashimura,Kimihiro Matsuki,Naohide Matsumoto,Keiji Inoue,Hisashi Okawa +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, three discrete binuclear gadolinium(III)-copper(II) complexes (CuGd(fsadien)NO3·5H2O (1), CuGd (hsapn) NO3·3H2Os (2), and Gd(pvm)3Cu(A)] (3)) have been synthesized; they use the notation H4fsaddien=N,N′-bis(3-carboxysalicylidene)diethylenetriamine, H4hs
