Thermal Conductivity of Fiber Reinforced Composites by the FEM
Md. Rashidul Islam,Antti Pramila +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the applicability of the finite element method (FEM) in predicting the effective transverse thermal conductivity of fiber reinforced composites is systematically studied, and four different boundary condition combinations representing the periodicity of the temperature field are employed for ideal composites having perfect bond between fiber and matrix.

Millimeter-wave radio frequency integrated circuit packages with integrated antennas
TL;DR: In this paper, a planar core structure, an antenna structure disposed on one side of the core structure and an interface structure disposed at the other side of it, is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
AMMI Biplot Analysis for Stability of Grain Yield in Hybrid Rice (Oryza sativa L.)
Anowara Akter,Jamil Hassan M,Umma Kulsum M,Md. Rashidul Islam,Kamal Hossain,Mamunur Rahman M +5 more
TL;DR: Genotype x environment interaction and stability performance were investigated on grain yield with 12 rice genotypes in five environments and the significant interaction indicated that the genotypes respond differently across the different environments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mineralogical changes during intense chemical weathering of sedimentary rocks in Bangladesh
TL;DR: The main primary minerals identified in the weathered crust of sedimentary rocks are quartz, plagioclase, K-feldspar, biotite, muscovite, sparse carbonate and epidote as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Energy requirement in parboiling and its relationship to some important quality indicators
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of parboiling treatment on the energy requirement of rice was studied and also on some important quality indicators of rice, such as hardness and lightness.
