The region of stability of green rust II in the electrochemical potential-pH equilibrium diagram of iron in sulphate medium

TL;DR: In this article, the free enthalpy of GR II has been evaluated to 1,020,400 ± 4,600 calories/mole, and the probable area of stability of the GR II in the tensionpH equilibria diagram for iron has been established.
Journal ArticleDOI

DTA study of the dehydration of synthetic goethite αFeOOH

TL;DR: In this paper, the shape of DTA endothermic peak associated with the dehydration of goethite FeOOH into hematite depends strongly on the size of the particles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Etude de l'Oxydation par Aeration de Fe(OH)2 en Milieu Chlorure

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of temperature, concentration, air flow rate, and physico-chemical factors on the oxidation kinetics of an aqueous suspension of Fe(OH)2 in the presence of sodium and iron(II) chloride in solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Behaviour of pyrite during hydrogenation of graphite at atmospheric pressure

TL;DR: In this article, the pyrite behavior during graphite hydrogenation was investigated using thermogravimetry and X-ray and electronic diffraction, and the results showed that graphite can be hydrogenated at temperatures lower than 1000 °C in the presence of metallic iron obtained from pyrites.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence de la Température et de la Présence des Ions Etrangers sur la Cinétique et le Mécanisme de Formation de la Goethite en Milieu Aqueux

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the influence of temperature and presence of foreign ions on the kinetics of transformation of the goethite in sulfate medium by slow air bubbling.
