Performance of a solar storage collector
TL;DR: In this article, a flat plate solar collector and a storage tank are used for domestic water heating in Tunisia, where the collector consists of a capillary exchanger integrated in a concrete matrix.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal Performance of a Solar Heat Storage Accumulator Used For Greenhouses Conditioning
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied a thermal energy storage system for greenhouse heating, which is composed of a vat having a large dimension (6 m 3 ) filled with fin sand.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison between a solar system and a fuel boiler for greenhouse air-conditioning
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared a solar system for greenhouse conditioning in order to maintain the greenhouse air temperature at 12°C at night during the coldest months with a conventional heating system.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal Energy Storage in the Ground of a Greenhouse by the Polypropylene Capillary Heat Exchanger
TL;DR: In this article, the advisability of using two exchangers coupled between them to manage thermal energy in a greenhouse was studied, where the hot water, which circulates in the exchangers, is provided by the hot-water tank of the electrosolar power station of the Center of Energy Researches and Technologies (CRTEn) from Tunisia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Heat transfer characteristics of a capillary heat exchanger based air conditioning cupboard
TL;DR: In this article, the thermal performance of an air-conditioning cupboard conceived and carried out in a laboratory (Solar Applications Laboratory) is investigated. And the experimental results obtained made it possible to study the effect of various operational variables (heat transfer surface, flow and temperature of water crossing the plaits) on the exchanged thermal power and the total exchange coefficient.
