Synthesis and Stability of Tagged UiO-66 Zr-MOFs
Mathivathani Kandiah,Merete Hellner Nilsen,Sandro Usseglio,Søren Jakobsen,Unni Olsbye,Mats Tilset,Cherif Larabi,Elsje Alessandra Quadrelli,Francesca Bonino,Karl Petter Lillerud +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a family of isoreticular MOFs, based on the UiO-66 structure, was obtained from the three different linker ligands H2N−H2BDC, O2N −H2BDDC, and Br−H 2BDC and the physicochemical and chemical investigation of these materials demonstrate that this class of MOFs retains high thermal and chemical stabilities, even with functional groups present at the linker units.
Journal ArticleDOI
Disclosing the Complex Structure of UiO-66 Metal Organic Framework: A Synergic Combination of Experiment and Theory
Loredana Valenzano,Bartolomeo Civalleri,Sachin Chavan,Silvia Bordiga,Merete Hellner Nilsen,Søren Jakobsen,Karl Petter Lillerud,Carlo Lamberti +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed characterization of structural, vibrational, and electronic properties of UiO-66 (Zr-BDC MOF) in its hydroxylated and dehydroxylating forms is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
H2 storage in isostructural UiO-67 and UiO-66 MOFs.
Sachin Chavan,Jenny G. Vitillo,Diego Gianolio,Olena Zavorotynska,Bartolomeo Civalleri,Søren Jakobsen,Merete Hellner Nilsen,Loredana Valenzano,Carlo Lamberti,Karl Petter Lillerud,Silvia Bordiga +10 more
TL;DR: The first complete structural, vibrational and electronic characterization of the isostructural UiO-67 material is reported, obtained using the longer 4,4'-biphenyl-dicarboxylate (BPDC) linker by combining laboratory XRPD, Zr K-edge EXAFS, TGA, FTIR, and UV-Vis studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Product shape selectivity dominates the Methanol-to-Olefins (MTO) reaction over H-SAPO-34 catalysts
Bart P. C. Hereijgers,Bart P. C. Hereijgers,Francesca Lønstad Bleken,Merete Hellner Nilsen,Stian Svelle,Karl Petter Lillerud,Morten Bjørgen,Bert M. Weckhuysen,Unni Olsbye +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, isotopic switch experiments were used to study the relationship between reaction intermediates and product distribution for the Methanol-to-Olefins (MTO) reaction over the archetype H-SAPO-34 catalyst during a full deactivation cycle.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of various types of Al-MCM-41 materials as catalysts in biomass pyrolysis for the production of bio-fuels and chemicals
TL;DR: In this article, the mesopores of MCM-41 materials have been evaluated as potential catalysts in the catalytic biomass pyrolysis process and it was found that the presence of the MCM41 material alters significantly the quality of the pyrotechnic products.
