Higgs-boson production in top-quark fragmentation

TL;DR: In this article, the fragmentation functions for the production of a Higgs boson were derived at the same perturbative order as the corresponding splitting functions for all the corresponding top-quark and Higgs masses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Summary of the Topical Workshop on Top Quark Differential Distributions 2014

TL;DR: The Topical Workshop on Top Quark Differential Distributions 2014 as discussed by the authors explored the impact of improved calculations of top quark production on precision LHC measurements, PDF determinations and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model, as well as finding ways in which the high precision data from ATLAS, CMS and LHCb can be used to further refine theoretical predictions for top production.

Are Neutrinos Dirac or Majorana Particles

TL;DR: In spite of the general belief that neutrinos are Majorana particles, the search for such a decay of various nuclei is negative as discussed by the authors, and the present knowledge of neutrino masses and mixing matrix elements combined with the bound from neutrinoless double $\beta $ decay could help to determine their nature.
