Journal ArticleDOI

ZFITTER: a semi-analytical program for fermion pair production in e+e− annihilation, from version 6.21 to version 6.42☆

TL;DR: This work presents a summary of new features of the ZFITTER program version 6.42 compared to 6.21, including some higher-order QED corrections to fermion pair production, and electroweak one-loop corrections to atomic parity violation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resolving the Tevatron Top Quark Forward-Backward Asymmetry Puzzle: Fully Differential Next-to-Next-to-Leading-Order Calculation

TL;DR: In this paper, the dominant missing standard model (SM) contribution to the top quark pair forward-backward asymmetry at the Tevatron was determined, and a large, around 27%, shift relative to the well-known value of the inclusive asymmetry in next-to-leading order QCD was found.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heavy-quark production in gluon fusion at two loops in QCD

TL;DR: In this paper, the two-loop virtual QCD corrections to the production of heavy quarks in gluon fusion were presented, and the results were exact in the limit when all kinematical invariants are large compared to the mass of the heavy quark.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electroweak two-loop corrections to the effective weak mixing angle

TL;DR: In this article, exact results for the complete electroweak two-loop contributions to the effective weak mixing angle were published, in particular the methods for evaluating the loop diagrams and the proper definition of Z-pole observables at next-to-next-toleading order.
