Journal ArticleDOI

Absorption and slow-light analysis based on tunable plasmon-induced transparency in patterned graphene metamaterial.

TL;DR: It is found that the absorption efficiency of the designed structure can reach up to 50%, meaning the structure is competent to prominent terahertz absorber, and the slow-light performance of this structure is discussed via analyzing the group refractive index and phase shift.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dual tunable plasmon-induced transparency based on silicon-air grating coupled graphene structure in terahertz metamaterial.

TL;DR: A suitable theoretical model is established to study spectral features in the plasmonic graphene system, and the theoretical results agree well with the simulations, and may provide guidance for fundamental research of highly tunable optoelectronic devices.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dual plasmon-induced transparency and slow light effect in monolayer graphene structure with rectangular defects

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel monolayer graphene structure whose unit cell possesses two rectangular defects is proposed, and the dual plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) effect can be successfully achieved by the destructive interference in the terahertz region.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tunable ultra-wide band-stop filter based on single-stub plasmonic-waveguide system

TL;DR: In this paper, a nanoscale plasmonic filter based on a single-stub coupled metal-dielectric-metal waveguide system is investigated theoretically and numerically.
