Genipin-crosslinked human serum albumin coating using a tannic acid layer for enhanced oral administration of curcumin in the treatment of ulcerative colitis

TL;DR: An oral food-grade nanocarrier composed of tannic acid (TA)-coated, Genipin (Gnp)-crosslinked human serum albumin (HSA) to encapsulate CUR (TA/CUR-NPs) significantly alleviated colitis symptoms in DSS-treated mice when compared with controls by inhibiting the TLR4-linked NF-κB signaling pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biliary reconstruction and complications in adult living donor liver transplantation: systematic review and meta-analysis.

TL;DR: This study found that there is no clear evidence in favor of using DD or RYHJ during adult LDLT and no statistically differences in incidence of biliary complications were found between the Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy and DD groups.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anti‐inflammatory effect of Rhein on ulcerative colitis via inhibiting PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway and regulating gut microbiota

TL;DR: Rhine had anti‐UC efficacy, which was demonstrated by mitigating the UC symptoms and reducing intestinal inflammation by inhibiting the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway and modulating gut microbiota.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental Study of CaO Facilitated Cellulose Pyrolysis in a Drop Tube Pyrolyzer

TL;DR: In this article, the direct deoxygenation effect of CaO on bio-oil from cellulose pyrolysis was studied in a series of drop tube experiments together with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis.

Distinct clinical features and prognostic factors of hepatitis C virus-associated non-Hodgkin's lymphoma: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

TL;DR: Antiviral treatment and rituximab-containing regimes were shown to be efficacious to improve clinical outcomes of NHL patients with HCV infection and were associated with a favorable OS while liver cirrhosis and low levels of albumin were inferior prognostic factors of OS for HCV-positive NHL patients.
