H 2 O 2 -assisted photocatalysis on flower-like rutile TiO 2 nanostructures: Rapid dye degradation and inactivation of bacteria

TL;DR: In this paper, Hierarchically assembled flower-like rutile TiO2 (FLH-R-TiO2) nanostructures were successfully synthesized from TiCl4 at room temperature without the use of surfactants or templates.
Journal ArticleDOI

TaS2, TaSe2, and Their Heterogeneous Films as Catalysts for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction.

TL;DR: The liquid-phase exfoliation of the 2H-TaS2 crystals by using 2-propanol to produce single/few-layer (1H/2H) flakes, which are afterward deposited as catalytic films are reported, providing new insight into the usage of the metallic group 5 TMDs for the HER through scalable material preparation and electrode processing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of the fluorine doping on the optical properties of CdS thin films for photovoltaic applications

TL;DR: In this paper, a model based on the reaction of the incorporated fluorine with the interstitial Cd atoms is presented, in order to explain the differences in the luminescence behavior between the undoped and F-doped samples and the observed passivation of the grain boundaries.
Journal ArticleDOI

Production and stability of mechanochemically exfoliated graphene in water and culture media

TL;DR: This work provides an easy and general access to aqueous graphene suspensions of chemically non-modified graphene samples, an otherwise (almost) impossible task to achieve by other means.
