Journal ArticleDOI

From Binary Cu2S to Ternary Cu–In–S and Quaternary Cu–In–Zn–S Nanocrystals with Tunable Composition via Partial Cation Exchange

TL;DR: Cytotoxicity tests confirmed the biocompatibility of the synthesized CIZS NCs, which opens up opportunities for their application as near-infrared fluorescent markers in the biomedical field.
Journal ArticleDOI

Postsynthesis Transformation of Insulating Cs4PbBr6 Nanocrystals into Bright Perovskite CsPbBr3 through Physical and Chemical Extraction of CsBr

TL;DR: It is shown that these nanocrystals can be converted into “three-dimensional” CsPbBr3 perovskites by extraction of CsBr, and this conversion drastically changes the optoelectronic properties of the nanocry crystals that become highly photoluminescent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Beating the spin-down limit on gravitational wave emission from the Vela pulsar

J. Abadie, +824 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present direct upper limits on gravitational wave emission from the Crab pulsar using data from the first 9 months of the fifth science run of the LIGO.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polymer-Free Films of Inorganic Halide Perovskite Nanocrystals as UV-to-White Color-Conversion Layers in LEDs.

TL;DR: Lead halide-based perovskite nanocrystals have recently emerged as very promising candidates for many optoelectronic applications, and are reported to be the first perovSkite-based LEDs to be observed.
