Exogenous α-Tocopherol Regulates the Growth and Metabolism of Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) under Drought Stress
Nudrat Aisha Akram,Rohina Bashir,Gulshan Ashraf,Shehnaz Bashir,Muhammad Ashraf,Mohammed Nasser Alyemeni,Andrzej Bajguz,Parvaiz Ahmad +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an exogenous application of α-tocopherol (TOC) was designed to improve drought stress tolerance in eggplant (Solanum melongena L).
Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of Spring and Summer-Sown Maize under Different Irrigation Strategies in Pakistan
Abdul Ghaffar Khan,Muhammad Imran,Anwar-ul-Hassan Khan,Ali Fares,Jiří Šimůnek,Tanveer Ul-Haq,Abdulaziz Abdullah Alsahli,Mohammed Nasser Alyemeni,Shafaqat Ali +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a field study was carried out to determine the dynamics of soil water and the efficiency of water utilization for maize grown under five different experimental treatments based on site-specific crop, soil, and weather parameters, and the results showed that the flood irrigation flatbed (FIF) treatment produced the highest evapotranspiration, leaf area index (LAI), and biomass yield compared to other treatments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of calcium oxide, zinc oxide nanoparticles and their combined treatments on growth and yield attributes of Solanum lycopersicum L
Ayesha Farooq,Sumera Javad,Khajista Jabeen,Anis Ali Shah,Asma Hayati Ahmad,Adnan Noor Shah,Mohammed Nasser Alyemeni,Walid F.A Mosa,Asad Abbas +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , zinc oxide (ZnO) and calcium oxide (CaO) nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized by following green synthesis by using water extract of Nigella sativa seeds.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development and Optimization of Label-Free Quantitative Proteomics under Different Crossing Periods of Bottle Gourd
A.R. Malik,V. S. Mor,Himani Punia,D.S. Duhan,Jayanti Tokas,Axay Bhuker,Mohammed Nasser Alyemeni,Awais Shakoor +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the changes in the proteins' electrophoretic patterning of the seed development at different crossing periods was studied in bottle gourd using label-free quantitative proteomics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phenolic Profile, Nutritional Composition, Functional Properties and Antioxidant Activity of Newly Grown Parthenocarpic and Normal Seeded Tomato
