Utilization Of Waste Spent HydroprocessingCatalyst: Development Of A Process For FullRecovery Of Deposited Metals And AluminaSupport

TL;DR: In this paper, the possibility of recycling total spent catalysts (TSC) was studied by using various steps such as deoiling, drying, grinding, sieving and decoking.

Catalyst for mild-hydrocracking of residual oil

TL;DR: In this article, a porous alumina support for mild-hydrocracking of residual oil includes a plurality of transition metals impregnated on the support, including one Group VIII element and one or more Group VI elements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pyrolysis of Asphaltenes Derived from Residual Oils and Their Thermally Treated Pitch

TL;DR: Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) results clearly indicate that thermal degradation of asphaltene takes place in a single process that starts around 350 °C and ends at 500 °C, giving ash contents of less than 2%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesizing few-layer carbon materials from asphaltene by thermal treatment

TL;DR: In this paper , a few-layer carbon materials were synthesized from asphaltene by a top-down approach using a thermal treatment using FTIR analysis; while the exfoliation of aromatic layers was verified by the XRD, Raman, and TEM analyses.
