Modeling and Forecasting of Sugarcane Production in India
Pradeep Mishra,Abdullah Mohammad Ghazi Al Khatib,Iqra Sardar,Jamal Mohammed,Kadir Karakaya,Abhiram Dash,Monika Ray,Lakshmi Narsimhaiah,A. P. Dubey +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the ARIMA method to model the production process and used RMSE, MAPE and Theils' U statistic to test the accuracy of the models fitted to the data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Trajectory of COVID-19 Data in India: Investigation and Project Using Artificial Neural Network, Fuzzy Time Series and ARIMA Models
Pradeep Mishra,Chellai Fatih,Deepa Rawat,Saswati Sahu,Sagar Anand Pandey,Monika Ray,A. P. Dubey,Olawale Monsur Sanusi +7 more
TL;DR: Two nonlinear time series models are estimated: Artificial Neural Network and Fuzzy Time Series by comparing them with ARIMA model and a short-term virus spread trend is observed according to three forecasting models.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Integrated Nutrient Management on Yield, Economics and Post-harvest Soil Properties of Sweet Corn Grown under Mid-Central Table Land Zone of Odisha
TL;DR: In this paper , a field experiment was conducted during 2019 and 2020 in order to study the effect of integrated nutrient management on sweet corn yield and post harvest soil properties, which was observed highest in T6 (5.35 t ha-1), where bio fertilizer consortia, B and Zn were applied along with STD fertilization.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Nowcasting India Economic Growth Using a Mixed-Data Sampling (MIDAS) Model (Empirical Study with Economic Policy Uncertainty–Consumer Prices Index)
Pradeep Kumar Mishra,Khder Alakkari,Mostafa Abotaleb,Pankaj Singh,Shilpi Singh,Monika Ray,Soumitra Das,Umme Habibah Rahman,Ali J. Othman,Nazirya Alexandrovna Ibragimova,Gulfishan Firdose Ahmed,Fozia Homa,Pushpika Tiwari,Ritisha Balloo +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors aimed at nowcasting GDP in India based on high-frequency data released early and followed the MIDAS-Almon (PDL) weighting approach, which allowed them to successfully capture structural breaks and predict Indian GDP for the second quarter of 2021.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of Productivity and Profitability of Sweet Corn + Cowpea Intercropping under Rainfed Condition in NCPZ of Odisha
TL;DR: A field experiment on "Planting pattern and nutrient management in rainfed sweet corn + cowpea system" was conducted during the kharif 2019-20 and 2020-21 at Regional Research and Technology Transfer Station, Keonjhar, Odisha as mentioned in this paper .
