High loading rice husk green composites: Dimensional stability, tensile behavior and prediction, and combustion properties:
TL;DR: In this paper, a high-fiber loading green composites were prepared from recycled high-density polyethylene (rHDPE)/polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) blend matrix and rice husk (RH) as filler.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hybridization of a thermoplastic natural rubber composite with multi-walled carbon nanotubes/silicon carbide nanoparticles and the effects on morphological, thermal, and mechanical properties
Journal ArticleDOI
High performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) nanocomposite based on graphene nanoplates (GNPs)
Mou'ad A. Tarawneh,Lih Jiun Yu,Musab A.M. Al Tarawni,Sahrim Ahmad,O. Al-Banawi,Mohammad A. Batiha +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the enhancement in the properties of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) reinforced by graphene nanoplates (GNPs) was examined, and the tensile strength, Young's modulus and impact strength of the nanocomposites also increased as the filler loading increased until an optimum value of filler loading was reached.
Journal Article
Effects of liquid natural rubber (LNR) on the mechanical properties of LNR toughened epoxy composite
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of liquid natural rubber (LNR) on the morphology and mechanical properties of rubber modified epoxy were investigated using a twin screw extruder, and the results showed an obvious increment of fracture toughness where maximum value was observed with 3 phr LNR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal behavior of MWNT-reinforced thermoplastic natural rubber nanocomposites:
Mou'ad A. Tarawneh,Sahrim Ahmad,Rozaidi Rasid,Syed Yusainee Syed Yahya,Kin-tak Lau,Kin-tak Lau,Ing Kong,Se Yong Eh Noum +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the thermal properties of a multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT)-reinforced thermoplastic natural rubber (TPNR) nanocomposite were studied using a melt blending method.
