A Review of Active Yaw Control System for Vehicle Handling and Stability Enhancement

TL;DR: In this article, the vital elements for control system design of an active yaw stability control system; the vehicle dynamic models, control objectives, active chassis control, and control strategies with the focus on identifying suitable criteria for improved transient performances.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A linear model of quarter car active suspension system using composite nonlinear feedback control

TL;DR: In this paper, a composite nonlinear feedback (CNF) control technique is successfully applied to design the controller based on control law for an active suspension system and the simulation results show that CNF controller is better than LQR controller and passive model.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A control performance of linear model and the MacPherson model for active suspension system using composite nonlinear feedback

TL;DR: In this article, the composite nonlinear feedback (CNF) control law is proposed in this comparative study between conventional linear model and Macpherson model and the simulation work is done by using MATLAB and SIMULINK to see the control performance on the quarter car active suspension model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimal Composite Nonlinear Feedback Controller for an Active Front Steering System

TL;DR: An integration of the active front steering system (AFS) with Composite Nonlinear Feedback controller is presented in this paper, used by a lot of researchers in controlling their system performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Review on Integrated Active Steering and Braking Control for Vehicle Yaw Stability System

TL;DR: In this article, a review study on integrated active steering and braking control for vehicle yaw stability system is conducted and its finding is discussed in this paper, which discusses a basic concept of control strategy based on the composite nonlinear feedback (CNF) and sliding mode control (SMC) which can be proposed for integrated active Steering and Braking control in order to improve the transient performances of the yaw rate and sideslip tracking control in the presence of uncertainties and disturbances.
