TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis and multi-response optimization of cutting process parameters of Aluminum alloy 6026-T9 in MQL and dry conditions using an integrated approach of composite desirability function and criteria importance through inter-criteria (CRITIC).

Evaluation of Factors affecting the Quality of Construction Projects

Abstract: Quality is one of the important aspects of all projects. The level of success of construction projects greatly depends on the quality performance. The Pakistan construction sector is facing quality related issues, which lead to ineffective and inefficient projects in terms of cost of overrun, delays and excessive rework. This research is carried out to scrutinize the factors, that have triumphed and adverse effect on the construction projects. A questionnaire was developed based on identified factors to take opinion of construction experts. After their feedback a statistical analysis tool such as chisquare and weighted mean method (WMM) were used to rank the significance level of these factors. Key words-Quality, Construction projects, Pakistan, Internal factors, External factors, Chi-Square, Weighted Mean Method
Journal ArticleDOI

Assessment of critical risk and success factors in construction supply chain: a case of Pakistan

TL;DR: In this article, the critical risk and success factors that affect the successful execution of construction projects are identified and analyzed. But, the authors do not consider the impact of these factors on the performance of the construction projects.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-Response Optimization of Tensile Creep Behavior of PLA 3D Printed Parts Using Categorical Response Surface Methodology.

TL;DR: The implemented research is believed to be a comprehensive guide for the additive manufacturing users to determine the optimum process parameters of FDM which influence the product creep rate and rupture time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Risk factors influencing the building projects in Pakistan: from perspective of contractors, clients and consultants

TL;DR: In this article, risk management in construction projects is an important process to achieve the project objectives in terms of cost, quality and time, and construction projects faces delays, cost overrun and quality degradation.
