Determine the Potential Epitope Based Peptide Vaccine Against Novel SARS-CoV-2 Targeting Structural Proteins Using Immunoinformatics Approaches
Muhammad Waqas,Ali Haider,Muhammad Sufyan,Sami Siraj,Sheikh Arslan Sehgal,Sheikh Arslan Sehgal +5 more
TL;DR: The predicted peptides may have potential to be used as peptide vaccine against COVID-19, one of the major pathogenic viruses causing a variety of diseases in birds and mammals including humans.
Journal ArticleDOI
Immunoinformatics and Molecular Docking Studies Predicted Potential Multiepitope-Based Peptide Vaccine and Novel Compounds against Novel SARS-CoV-2 through Virtual Screening.
Muhammad Waqas,Ali Haider,Abdur Rehman,Muhammad Qasim,Ahitsham Umar,Muhammad Sufyan,Hafiza Nisha Akram,Asif Mir,Roha Razzaq,Danish Rasool,Rana Adnan Tahir,Sheikh Arslan Sehgal,Sheikh Arslan Sehgal +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, immunoinformatics approaches were employed to predict the antigenic epitopes against SARS-CoV-2 for the development of the coronavirus vaccine, and four CTL epitopes with antigenic sites were analyzed followed by binding affinity and binding interaction analyses of top-ranked predicted peptides with MHC-I HLA molecule.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identifying key genes and screening therapeutic agents associated with diabetes mellitus and HCV-related hepatocellular carcinoma by bioinformatics analysis.
Muhammad Sufyan,Usman Ali Ashfaq,Sajjad Ahmad,Fatima Noor,Muhammad Hamzah Saleem,Muhammad Farhan Aslam,Hamed A. El-Serehy,Sidra Aslam +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed using STRING tool and visualized by Cytoscape, and the hub genes were identified on the basis of their degree of connectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-aging natural compounds and their role in the regulation of metabolic pathways leading to longevity.
Aqsa Muzammil,Muhammad Waqas,Ahitsham Umar,Muhammad Sufyan,Abdur Rehman,Ali Haider,Haseeb Akram,Seemab Amjad Fateh Khan,Muhammad Afzal,Muhammad Wajid,Rana Adnan Tahir,Sheikh Arslan Sehgal +11 more
TL;DR: A comprehensive study of natural compounds demonstrated with their anti-aging activities along with databases of natural products for drug designing was executed and summarized in this review article as mentioned in this paper, where the authors concluded that natural compounds are being utilized in drug design and development through computational and high throughput techniques for effective pro-longevity drugs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Berberis lyceum and Fumaria indica: in vitro cytotoxicity, antioxidant activity, and in silico screening of their selected phytochemicals as novel hepatitis C virus nonstructural protein 5A inhibitors.
Koloko Brice Landry,Somayya Tariq,Ayesha Malik,Muhammad Sufyan,Usman Ali Ashfaq,Bushra Ijaz,Ahmad Ali Shahid +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the cytotoxicity of Berberis lyceum and Fumaria indica is evaluated for liver infections, including hepatitis C virus (HCV) in Pakistani indigenous herbal medicines.
