We obtained, by using the proper quantization rule, the approximate solutions of the Schrodinger equation with Manning-Rosen plus Hellmann potential for any l-state. Furthermore, thermodynamic properties, such as the vibrational mean U , specific heat C, free energy F and entropy S for the pure vibrational state in the classical limit for these energy eigenvalues, are studied.

In this paper, we demonstrated that the multiple turning point problems within the framework of the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation method can be reduced to two turning point one for a nonsymmetric potential function by using an appropriate Pekeris-type approximation scheme. We solved the Schrodinger equation with the Killingbeck potential plus an inversely quadratic potential (KPIQP) function. The special cases of the modeled potential are discussed. We obtained the energy eigenvalues and the mass spectra of the heavy and heavy-light mesons systems. The results in this present work are in good agreement with the results obtained by other analytical methods and available experimental data in the literature.

Mass spectrum of Mesons via the WKB approximation method

The approximate analytical solutions of the radial Schrodinger equation have been obtained by the interaction of Manning-Rosen and Hellmann potentials which is a newly proposed potential. Using the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin WKB approach, we obtained the eigenstates solutions for any arbitrary angular momentum. Special cases of potential consideration have been discussed. Eigenenergy solutions to equations obtained play an important role in quantum mechanics because they contain a wealth of vital information regarding the system under consideration.
