Polymers for flexible displays: From material selection to device applications
TL;DR: In this paper, the kinds of polymers that are used, where and how polymer materials are used and the challenges to overcome in developing flexible displays are discussed and discussed in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Drug-Delivery Behavior of Chitosan-Functionalized Graphene Oxide Hybrid Nanosheets
Vijay Kumar Rana,Myeon-Cheon Choi,Jin-Yeon Kong,Gwang Yeon Kim,Mi Ju Kim,Sun-Hee Kim,Satyendra Mishra,Raj Pal Singh,Chang-Sik Ha +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a chitosan-functionalized graphene oxides (FGOCs) were successfully synthesized and the presence of organic groups was confirmed by means of XPS and TGA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Plasticization of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) through chemical grafting of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) via in situ reactive blending
TL;DR: In this article, low molecular weight acrylated poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) was grafted onto poly(lactic acid) (PLA) via a reactive blending to improve its plasticity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low-Temperature Growth of Nanocrystalline Mn-Doped ZnS Thin Films Prepared by Chemical Bath Deposition and Optical Properties
Alireza Goudarzi,Ghaffar Motedayen Aval,Sung Soo Park,Myeon-Cheon Choi,Reza Sahraei,M. Habib Ullah,Armen Avane,Chang-Sik Ha +7 more
TL;DR: The effects of the process parameters on the properties of ZnS:Mn films were investigated in this paper, where the films were characterized by energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX), inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES), Rutherford backscattering (RBS), secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR), XPS, XRD, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), field emission
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly Transparent and Refractive Polyimides with Controlled Molecular Structure by Chlorine Side Groups
TL;DR: Transparent polyimides (PIs) that have a high refractive index and low birefringence as well as good thermal and mechanical stability were synthesized by the judicious introduction of di- and tetrachlorinated aromatic diamines with aromatic/aliphatic dianhydrides as discussed by the authors.
