Effects of disorder and isotopic substitution in the specific heat and Raman scattering in LuB12
N. E. Sluchanko,A. N. Azarevich,A. N. Azarevich,A. V. Bogach,I. I. Vlasov,V. V. Glushkov,V. V. Glushkov,S. V. Demishev,S. V. Demishev,A. A. Maksimov,I. I. Tartakovskii,E. V. Filatov,Karol Flachbart,Slavomír Gabáni,V. B. Filippov,N. Yu. Shitsevalova,Victor Moshchalkov +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the specific heat and spectral intensity I(ω) of Raman scattering for Lu B12 single crystal samples with various boron isotopes (N = 10, 11, nat) were performed at low and intermediate temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electronic structure and bulk properties of MB6 and MB12 borides
G. E. Grechnev,A. E. Baranovskiy,V. D. Fil,Tetyana Ignatova,I. G. Kolobov,A. V. Logosha,N. Yu. Shitsevalova,V. B. Filippov,Olle Eriksson +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the elastic constants of the higher borides MB6 and MB12 have been analyzed on the basis of the calculated equations of states and balanced crystal orbital overlap populations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intense low-energy ferromagnetic fluctuations in the antiferromagnetic heavy-fermion metal CeB6.
Hoyoung Jang,G. Friemel,J. Ollivier,A. V. Dukhnenko,N. Yu. Shitsevalova,Volodymyr Filipov,Bernhard Keimer,Dmytro S. Inosov +7 more
TL;DR: Inelastic neutron-scattering data reveal that the intensity of this FM excitation significantly exceeds that of conventional spin-wave magnons emanating from the AFM wavevectors, thus placing CeB6 much closer to a FM instability than previously anticipated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhancement of band magnetism and features of the magnetically ordered state in the CeB 6 compound with strong electron correlations
N. E. Sluchanko,A. V. Bogach,A. V. Bogach,V. V. Glushkov,V. V. Glushkov,S. V. Demishev,S. V. Demishev,V. Yu. Ivanov,M. I. Ignatov,M. I. Ignatov,A. V. Kuznetsov,N. A. Samarin,A. V. Semeno,N. Yu. Shitsevalova +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the magnetic susceptibility of high-quality CeB6 single crystals obeys not a logarithmic law, which is typical of the Kondo mechanism of charge carrier scattering, but the law ρ ∝ Tcffff −1/η corresponding to the weak localization regime with a critical index 1/ε = 0.39 ± 0.02.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic spin resonance in CeB 6
S. V. Demishev,A. V. Semeno,A. V. Bogach,N. A. Samarin,T. V. Ishchenko,V. B. Filipov,N. Yu. Shitsevalova,N. E. Sluchanko +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a line shape of magnetic spin resonance at 60 GHz specific to the phase II (so-called antiferroquadrupole phase) of the heavy fermion metal was studied.
