Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Applications of Organized Mesoporous Aluminas

TL;DR: The synthesis of organized mesoporous aluminas has opened a very interesting area for application of this type of materials, particularly as catalysts or catalyst supports as discussed by the authors, and a review focusing on the individual synthesis routes and evaluation of their textural, chemical and thermal properties is presented in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Transformation of Vegetable Oils into Hydrocarbons over Mesoporous-Alumina-Supported CoMo Catalysts

TL;DR: In this article, two main deoxygenation pathways were found: hydrodeoxidegenation and hydrodecarboxylation over organized-mesoporous-alumina-supported CoMo catalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent Advances in Reactions of Alkylbenzenes Over Novel Zeolites: The Effects of Zeolite Structure and Morphology

TL;DR: A comprehensive review of zeolite-based acid catalysts can be found in this paper, where major reactions of mono-, di-, and tri-alkylbenzenes such as disproportionation, alkylation, transalkylation, isomerization, etc.
Journal ArticleDOI

The role of the zeolite channel architecture and acidity on the activity and selectivity in aromatic transformations: The effect of zeolite cages in SSZ-35 zeolite

TL;DR: In this article, a series of zeolites differing in the channel architecture and acidity was investigated in toluene disproportionation, together with p-xylene alkylation with isopropyl alcohol, and it was shown that general relationship of increasing zeolite activity with increasing pore diameter and pore connectivity is not valid as the size of some 12-ring channels (Beta, MCM-68) is comparable with 10-ring channel (ZSM-5, SSZ-35).
Journal ArticleDOI

Activity and selectivity of zeolites MCM-22 and MCM-58 in the alkylation of toluene with propylene

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of the pore architecture of zeolites MCM-22 on their catalytic activity and selectivity in the gas-phase alkylation of toluene with propylene has been investigated.
