TL;DR: It is found that changes in both HA and NA may be required for the adaptation of influenza viruses from wild aquatic birds to domestic chickens and raises the possibility that chickens may be a possible intermediate host in zoonotic transmission.

Eight-plasmid rescue system for influenza A virus
TL;DR: The results prove that the generated recombinant virus has the same growth properties as the parental egg grown virus and indicate that the eight-plasmid transfection method has the potential to improve currently used methods for the production of vaccine viruses.
